Unpaid two Weeks off -兩個禮拜的無薪假

Just got off the company meeting. The owner is going to close the operation for two weeks, starting next Monday 10/5. Everyone will have two weeks off, unpaid! Great. I know the business is bad. We got virtually no order last week and no order today. But still! Two weeks without paid. Good thing I have a bit raining day saving, it will not be a big problem for me. As for long term job security, I do not know. I can only hope for the best and hope that after the two weeks vacation, we will have a lot of orders and company can survive this economic hardship.


下午公司召集全部同事開會﹐結果老闆宣佈公司休息兩個禮拜﹐從下禮拜一(10/5)開始。全部所有人放兩個禮拜的無薪假。我知道公司生意很差﹐上禮拜和今天完全沒有訂單﹐可是放無薪假感覺還是很差。兩個禮拜沒薪水拿﹐還好我有點積蓄以防萬一﹐經濟上還不至於有太大的問題。不過長期的工作穩定性就不知道了。我只能抱最好的希望﹐希望兩個禮拜的假期結束後﹐我們開始收到很多訂單﹐公司可以撐過這次的經濟不景氣。
